ResonantBreatheBar v1.1 — Cycle Limits, Better Links, and Easier Contact

· 3 min read

ResonantBreatheBar v1.1 is here. This update adds the most-requested feature — a way to set a fixed number of breathing cycles — and fixes several rough edges you told us about. Here's what changed and why.

What's new in v1.1

Set a target number of cycles

The number one piece of feedback we heard: "I'd love to have a set number of repetitions instead of letting the breathing go on forever."

Fair point. Not every session needs to be open-ended. Maybe you want exactly 10 cycles of box breathing before a meeting, or 5 rounds of 4-7-8 before bed. Now you can.

Open Settings → Session and toggle off "Unlimited cycles." A stepper appears where you pick 1–99 cycles. The app runs your pattern that many times and then stops on its own. Leave it on unlimited if you prefer to breathe until you decide to stop — the default behavior hasn't changed.

Contact info front and center

A few of you pointed out that the only way to reach us was buried in the privacy policy. That's not great. We've added a Contact / Support button right in the app's About window (right-click the menu bar icon → About). It opens a direct email to [email protected]. We've also added contact info to the website footer so you can always find it.

The "Documentation" button in the About window was pointing to a broken URL. Fixed — it now takes you straight to the ResonantBreatheBar docs.

The blog link in the site navigation wasn't resolving correctly on some pages. Sorted out — all blog links now work consistently across the site.

Why these changes matter

We're building AVRHut tools to solve real friction in your day. That only works if you can tell us what's broken and what you need next. Making contact easier and fixing broken links is table stakes — we should have caught these sooner. The cycle limit feature is exactly the kind of focused improvement that makes a small tool more useful without making it complicated.
