How It Works
Apple Notes doesn't provide a public API, so browsers can't talk to it directly. Web Clipper solves this with a two-part approach that keeps everything local on your Mac.
Part 1: Capture
The browser extension (available for Chrome and Firefox) captures the web content you select — an article, a snippet, or the full page.
Part 2: Deliver
The extension hands the captured content to a lightweight bridge app running on your Mac. The bridge app communicates with Apple Notes and saves the content directly.
Privacy
All data flows locally — from browser to bridge app to Apple Notes. Nothing is sent to any server. Your data stays on your machine.
