Limitations

Given that Apple Notes APIs are not published, or in other worlds since apple notes is a closed ecosystem, we don't fully understand the working of apple notes. Due to that reason, there are 2 big glaring limitations in the web clipper:

  1. Images are not captured correctly. We are still capturing the placeholder for now when you clip full page or selection with image, and will modify it based on user feedback.

  2. Tags are created in the note, but note is not indexed with those tags. You will have to go to the notes, and press a space or enter after the tag for the note to be indexed with the tags added. We can possibly add folder support, as long as it is not a smart folder in the future. Please provide us feedback if you would like to see that.
